Set it up
- In Grok Bot, open Connect apps at the bottom of the sidebar, find Shopify, and tap Add (Grok Bot changelog). You can also tap Add to Grok Bot on the Shopify plugin page.
- Sign in to your Shopify store when asked.
- In chat, type @ to attach Shopify to a task.

Stay in control
- Turn on Auto-review (Settings → General → Auto-review) and add "Ask first" rules for actions that change your store, like product edits, inventory and discount codes. (Approvals and security)
- The plugin's skill scripts send usage data (queries, code, and model and client identifiers) to shopify.dev by default. Shopify's listing says you can turn this off by setting
OPT_OUT_INSTRUMENTATION=true. (Shopify's plugin listing) - Neither xAI nor Shopify has said yet what the connector costs, which Shopify plan it needs, or which permissions a store grants at sign-in.
